The key distinction to Blackfin based Core Modules is the availability of a Memory Management Unit (MMU) hence standard Linux can run on it as well as the availability of a Floating Point Unit (FPU).

Bluetechnix currently supports two types of Core Modules.

The first is based on the i.MX27 multimedia applications processor integrated an ARM926EJ-S™ core running at speeds of 400MHz, and provides hardware video accelerators. 

 

The second is based on the i.MX31 family of multimedia application processors integrating an ARM1136JF-S™ core running at speeds of 532 MHz, and optimized for minimal power consumption.

Bluetechnix development and application base boards allow for a fast integration of Freescale based Core Modules into any application. Custom extension boards can finalize a prototype or add additional interfaces with minimum risk and time. Ask Bluetechnix for support in custom peripherals and extension boards!
